Who we are

Cabin Co. is an online store and a trading name of Javi Pérez, sole trader, Calle Dinamarca 43, 04740 Roquetas de Mar, Almería, Spain, selling to customers in Australia. This policy explains what we do with your personal information. We handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and with the EU General Data Protection Regulation, which applies to us as an operator based in Spain.

What we collect

  • Order information: your name, email, delivery address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage information: pages you view on this store, the device and browser you use, and how you arrived here. Collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Anything you send us: emails, support messages, review content.

Why we collect it

To process and deliver your order, to answer your questions, to prevent fraud, to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations, and — if you have opted in — to send you marketing email.

Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts this store and processes orders.
  • Our supplier and the carriers, who need your address to deliver the parcel.
  • Payment providers, to take payment.
  • Cloudflare, which forwards email sent to our contact address and hosts the files you download.
  • Email and analytics providers, to send order and marketing email and to understand how the store is used.
  • Advertising platforms, including Meta, to measure whether our ads work and to show ads to people like you. You can opt out of personalised advertising in your account settings on those platforms.

We do not sell your personal information.

Where your information goes

Your information is stored and processed outside Australia — in the European Union, the United States and other countries where our providers operate. By ordering, you accept that overseas transfer. We take reasonable steps to ensure our providers protect your information.

How long we keep it

Order records for seven years, because tax law requires it. Marketing contacts until you unsubscribe. Support emails for two years.

Cookies

This store uses cookies that are strictly necessary for the cart and checkout to work, plus analytics and advertising cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but the cart will stop working if you block the necessary ones.

Your choices

  • Access and correction: ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to fix it.
  • Deletion: ask us to delete it, except where we must keep it by law.
  • Marketing: unsubscribe from any email we send, or email us.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first at hello@cabinseam.com. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. If you are in the EU, you may also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD).

If we change this policy we will update it on this page and change the date below.
